Crossing into Canada
Crossing the border into Canada is typically easy if you have the right documents. But the question is which document do you really need to enter Canada? The answer to that is not always simple as the US is heading the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative which will give you all the information you truly need to enter Canada.
While it would be best to look at the website above, there are three options that best meet the criteria to enter Canada, one being a U.S. Passport and another being a U.S. Passport Card with the Passport Card being a slightly cheaper option.
Lastly, on the Western Hemispehere Travel Initiative website, they list “Enhanced Driver’s License” States that are also acceptable. As of right now, if you come from Michigan, New York, Vermont or Washington you can use your enhanced drivers license to enter Canada.
Overseas
Most Overseas persons coming to our convention, all you should need is your passport and possibly a visa to enter Canada.
